McKenzie provided his thoughts in the February 3 issue of USA Today’s article “Swiss bank indictment details tax evasion ploys.” The article details a plot by a client advisor and two bankers with Wegelin & Company, Switzerland’s oldest bank, that enabled more than 100 wealthy Americans to evade federal taxes on at least $1.2 billion in assets hidden in foreign bank accounts.
