Each year the Bar Association awards the honor Advocatus Emeritus to members of the Order who have distinguished themselves through excellence in their professional careers, for their outstanding contributions to the profession or through their influence in their social and community environment. This year they are 26, including Claude-Armand Sheppard, Ad. E.
Established in 2007, this award is presented by the Quebec Bar to its most deserving members in gratitude for the excellence of their actions and contributions, or for their exceptional professionalism who has helped promote the image of the profession. This designation Ad.E., abbreviation of Advocatus Emeritus, is added to the recipient’s name.
