Arnstein & Lehr Tampa Partners Ronald B. Cohn and Vanessa N. Cohn recently made their second donation of Apple iPad’s to Tampa Preparatory School for use by students and teachers. In 2011 the Cohn’s generously donated 10 iPads for use by the school’s English Department. This spring they purchased an additional 10 iPad 3’s to supplement their earlier gift. Tampa Prep is a college preparatory school located in South Tampa for children in grades 6 through 12. The iPads have been an overwhelming success and were quickly integrated into the lives of teachers, students and administrators as a more portable way to stay connected with students. Teachers have used the devices for things such as researching subject matter, gaining fast access to books considered for changes in curriculum, accessing apps for student projects, digital book readers, real-time interactive quizzes, and as a geography tool. Students use them as a more portable tool in their audio visual department where Mr. and Mrs. Cohn were recently given a tour to illustrate their incorporation into the school.
