On 29 December 2012, the Federal Law No. 282-FZ “On amendments to several legislative acts of the Russian Federation and recognizing certain statutory provisions as ineffective” (hereinafter “the Law”) was signed by the President of the Russian Federation. The Law has been adopted in order to implement the development strategy for the Russian capital market up to 2020 and the action plan for the creation of an international financial center in the Russian Federation.
The Law aims to improve the legislation on emission of securities as well as to clarify certain issues of the law on business companies (khozyaystvennyye obshchestva). More…
