Arnstein & Lehr Miami Partners Michael B. Denberg and Phillip M. Hudson, III were recognized in the December 10 edition of the Daily Business Review which celebrated its 2012 Most Effective Lawyers. This eighth annual special report recognized some of the best work delivered by private and public sector lawyers from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The winners were measured by one critical benchmark – the results for their clients. Those recognized included attorneys who scored the biggest jury verdicts and settlements or achieved significant decisions affecting public policy or business.
Mr. Hudson and Mr. Denberg were selected as a Bankruptcy finalist for their representation of BTI Partners in a bankruptcy case concerning the Town Center at Doral where the Hollywood-based land developer had a $130 million investment at risk. The DBR’s selection of those to this year’s list of Most Effective Lawyers began with the assistance of bar members, their non-lawyer colleagues, and the clients who believed their lawyers deserved recognition for what was achieved. Nominees’ work was evaluated by the Review editorial staff during a three month selection process. Editors then selected one case in 13 separate categories that featured attorneys who should be recognized.
