Levine was recently appointed a member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Construction Law and Mechanics Lien Subcommittee, which is charged with drafting legislation for bonding over mechanics lien claims. The subcommittee’s purpose is to draft legislation acceptable to contractors, lenders, sureties and owners permitting interested parties in real estate to bond over mechanics lien claims.
