Tampa Partner Ronald B.  Cohn and Associate Tyler Samsing’s article “Foreclosure Crisis Presents Challenges for Lenders When Homeowners and Condo Associations are Involved,” was published in the August issue of The Bankruptcy Strategist. Their article addresses how community associations are being severely impacted by the foreclosure crisis and, as a result, lenders and courts are struggling to prosecute cases. The result is that associations are increasing legal pressure against lenders and are taking radical measures in an effort to speed things up, significantly straining the relationship between lenders and associations. The Bankruptcy Strategist is a monthly newsletter published by American Lawyer Media containing articles by the country’s top bankruptcy lawyers on innovative procedural techniques, legislative developments and recent judicial rulings.
