Doing Business in Russia 2011
Lidings participated in the research conducted by Doing Business Project dedicated to analyzing the effectiveness of reforms in the sphere of regulating entrepreneurial activity in Russia.
Lidings Partner Andrey Zelenin who has headed for a long time the Enterprise Development Committee at the American Chambers of Commerce in Russia has become one of the 34 experts providing materials for the research and analysis of the regulations applying to the entrepreneurial activity in Russia in 2011.
More than 8 200 exerts from different jurisdictions took part in this research including experts from such companies as Allen & Overy; Baker & McKenzie; Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton; KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Doing Business Project is launched in 2002 by International Financial Corporation and looks at domestic small and medium-size companies and measures the regulations applying to them.
Together with the World Bank yearly researches are conducted and detailed subnational reports are published within the Project, covering business regulation and reform in different countries.
